Hello everyone! Welcome to #MembershipMonday!

It was awesome to see some of you at the tri-sectional SLED/APO LEADS DAY event this past weekend.

The formal recruitment period for our chapters is nearly over, the last of our pledges/potential new members are about to be inducted, and the education is about to begin.

But what kinds of information should they know?

Well, they should know the basics!

- our symbols

- the toast song!

- our founder, where and when we were founded

- the section and the chapters in it

- their region and section chairs

This is for starters. They should also know about your chapter and how it functions and the brothers of course! The pledge manual is a great tool to help you map out your syllabus.

How much information you teach can also depend on how much time you have to teach them in the first place.

What other information do you teach your pledges/pnms that maybe isn't in the pledge manual? Comment below!

And as always, be excellent to each other.

Don't forget that you can reach us at membership@apor1.org. We love hearing from you!

Have a great week and we will see you at the next event!
