Hello everyone! Here's the final #MembershipMonday for Spring 2017!

Over the last few months, we've talked about recruiting new brothers, keeping everyone involved, conflict, and other various topics. Today we're talking about the inevitable... graduating seniors.

Seniors, your time as an active eventually will come to an end. Most of our time in APO will happen after we cross the stage. But before you begin your next adventure in life, have you fulfilled your obligations to the chapter?

Have you aided in recruitment, i.e. "replaced yourself" so that the chapter does not have a deficit from your leaving?

Were you the best role model you could be as a leader to your brothers, passing on the lessons you've learned to the next generation, so the chapter can continue to benefit from your wisdom?

If you did those things, you've left the chapter in good hands and should be proud of what you accomplished.

To the brothers who will carry on the chapter's good works, make sure you thank those bros heading out to grad school or the working world for their contributions.

Invite your alumni to any events you wish for them to attend. (Give them plenty of notice please.) Keep them in the loop about the positive impact you're making. You can even send out an alumni newsletter or host a special alumni-focused event; the Chapter of Excellence Award actually requires it. They will always be a part of your chapter so communicate with them from time to time!

One final thought to the seniors about to hit the stage: being in APO is a life-long journey. Your letters are for life. We hope you keep LFS with you no matter where your travels take you. Congrats and thank you for your service!
