	Current Extension Groups in Region 1:

	Husson College in Bangor, ME. This interest group started in September of 2004 and currently has16 members. They're a fantastic group that is really interested in service projects and doing fellowship. They would like to get to know more brothers from other chapters and made a trip down to UConn's Spring 2005 Conclave. They're hoping to Charter sometime next winter. Their sponsor is Becca Maynard who is an alumni of the Phi Epsilon Chapter at the Maine Maritime Academy.
	Southern Vermont College in Bennington, VT. This interest group started up about a year ago and currently has more then 20 members. They are very close to petitioning and look to charter next Spring. They are currently developing a fundraising program and are graduating many seniors and working through their first officer transition. They are very service oriented and a very independent group. Their sponsor is Lisa Torres who is an alumni of the Kappa Omicron Chapter at UMass.
	The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ. This petitioning group began on February 2, 2005 and currently has around 16 core members. They petitioned on May 1, 2005. This group is very service oriented and has had some phenomenal projects over the past couple months. They're looking forward to starting some group traditions right away and chartering is in their near future. 	University of Hartford in Hartford, CT. This group began in December 2004 and currently has 21 members. They were very excited to go through their Petitioning Ceremony on April 3, 2005. The Omicron Iota Chapter at WPI is proud to be their big brother chapter and has been very supportive. This group works very well together and has some great momentum. They look forward to Chartering in the near future. Their sponsor is David Rosenstein, an alumni of Epsilon Zeta chapter at RPI.
