[APOR1-L] Conversation about Nationals Bid 2008

Hey all

Welcome back from convention. One of the conversations we had as a region
was whether or not to think about pulling together a bid for the 2008
National Convention as we are in the eligible geographic area. What we
decided to do was to create a committee to do a bit of research on areas
and sites so that as a region we can make an informed decision at Regionals
in Albany in one year. The committee is open to students and alumni and
will be chaired by a student. If you or someone you know is interested in
being involved in this committee... please let me know AND check into the
region's bbs site to see what current information is there. My theory is if
we use the site as a data portal, then we will not have to clog up people's
inboxes unneccesarily.

Once I know who the interested students are, I will appoint a committee
chair and we can get the ball rolling on this!
