[APOR1-L] The first of many convention updates!

Brothers,

Well, convention is over and many will spend the next few days recovering
from sleep deprivation. There is much information coming in the next few
days, but there is some news that couldn't wait!

The students and staff of region 1 will be hosting the NEXT National
Convention in Boston!!!!!!! There will be a great deal of things that we
will need to being doing over the next two years...(although none of it in
the next 3 months.)

The students have also elected the next board of directors... they are as
follows:

President: Maggie Katz
Vice President: Mark Stratton
Program Directors:
Leadership: Ed Richter
Service: Carla Moran
Finance: Brant Warrick
Membership: John Ottenad
Alumni...: Jeff Cantor
The wild card slot: Jim Hahn

I was also re-elected as Rd, along with Mike Haber, Matt Cross, Adam
Bolain, and Ginny Combs.  The newly elected RD's are Dawn Greganis (3),
Rob Coop (6), Cole Robertson (7), Kat Whitfield (8), Franklyn Brodsky
(10), and Tony Ploughe (11).

As the next week or so progresses and my luggage arrives home with my
notes (its somewhere between Detroit and providence now) I will be sending
you more updates and information.

I've got a great deal of sleep to catch up on, so I think I'm going to get
right on that now.
